As part of Hidden Falls Park, the Hayden Run Falls features the biggest waterfalls in the Columbus area. I have seen other waterfalls around Ohio, but they were mostly small ones (in terms of height of fall).

I want to start by saying that parking here is terrible. The entrance to the park is right along Hayden Run Road, including the very limited parking space. Only 20 cars (maybe even less) could park there on a busy day. So good luck finding a space to park on weekends! In my case, I was lucky that someone was about to leave and I got a space to park.

See the satellite image below for proof of the limited parking lot.

This place gets a 4-star rating from me. If not for the limited parking space, I would have given this place a 5 out of 5 mark. The Hayden Run Falls is very-well kept, from the steep walkway to the location of the falls.

It is a short walk to reach the waterfalls.

From the viewing area, there was no access to be really near the waterfalls to, at least, dip your toes in the waters. However, I have seen others who dared to climb over the barriers and spent time sitting on the rocks. In fact, there was a couple who waded through the river towards the falls.

Hayden Run Falls is a good place to just relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
