The Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm in Dayton Ohio has added its newest park attraction — three Giant Trolls. The troll sculptures named Bo, Bodil, and Bibbi are scattered within the 350-acre nature sanctuary.

The exhibition called as “The Troll That Hatched an Egg” is one of only nine Dambo-created exhibitions in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Who built the trolls?

The trolls were built by Danish artist Thomas Dambo, the world’s leading recycle artist, with the help of a team of local volunteers.

How long will it take to see all trolls?

It really depends. The two trolls that are located closer to the entrance Center is about 15 to 20 minutes walk. The third troll is the farthest. Contrary to what is posted online that it would take three hours to see all trolls, this is not entirely true based on my experience. It only took me less than 30 minutes to walk from the 2nd troll to the 3rd and last troll.

The total trail distance is about 3 miles round trip.

Will this be a permanent exhibit?

Yes, the trolls were designed to be permanent roadside attractions of the park. They hope that the giant sculptures would remain intact for at least 5 years.

Hours open.

The park is open from 9 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday and 1 PM to 5 PM Sunday.
