In Fort Wayne, Indiana, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is the major cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. The parish was founded in 1836, thus, making it the city’s oldest religious organization. In 1860, construction began on the current church structure.
