Those who visit the Ariel-Foundation Park in Mt. Vernon, Ohio would have the chance to walk among the partial ruins of the massive glass-making facility — the Pittsburg Plate Glass — that once stood there.

Some of the ruins in the park are the historic brick facades, stair and elevator towers, a giant smokestack, as well as other beautiful structures.

There are plenty of spaces around the park that are allotted for parking. You will never have a hard time finding a place to park.

It is very kid-friendly park. I have seen families enjoying the park by strolling, and even boating at the lake.
