When I visited the Wegerzyn Gardens Metropark in Dayton Ohio on a Saturday afternoon, the garden park was crowded due to so many pictorial events happening — from weddings to some high-school gatherings. In fact, I was not able to enjoy or take pictures in some areas of the garden because I do not want to be seen as an event intruder. So, instead, I decided to just walk the nature trail located in one side of the garden.

The trail was short. Near the end of the path was a swamp forest boardwalk, which I thought was cool.

The Children’s Discovery Garden section was designed for kids to enjoy while learning about nature.

If you decide to visit, I suggest going there during the weekday to avoid the crowd.
