Just some few blocks away from the popular St. Louis, Missouri Arch, is the St. Louis City Garden. It is the closest tourist attraction that Google Map would suggest if you search for other places to visit near The Arch. But is it worth your while? Is it worth walking the stretch from the Arch to the Garden?

The City Garden is a little park nestled at the center of the busy city. The garden is not known for its flora or is visited because of its flowers and landscape. The main attraction of the City Garden is its display of huge sculptures.

Whether you enter from 8th St or 10th St, the City Garden would meet you with amazing arts that dot the huge recreational space. It is true to its name as “.. an urban oasis that is a hybrid between a sculpture garden, a botanic garden and a city park.”

If you have an hour or so left to spare after visiting the Arch, walk to the City Garden. It would be worth your time.

Amount of time to see everything: about 1 hour.
