The Deeds Barn Replica houses exhibits about the lives and work of acclaimed inventors, Charles F. Kettering and Colonel Edward A. Deeds. Inside the original barn, from 1908 to 1912, Deeds, Kettering, and a group of friends invented the electric automobile ignition, and later, the electric automobile self-starter.

Interesting historical fact:

1. Being too busy to change the phonograph record, the men working in the Deeds Barn listened to the song “When You and I Were Young Maggie” over and over again through the night.

NOTE: A complete list of all the things you will see inside the is here.
