Superman and Batman. Spiderman, Hulk, and Iron Man. Armed with alter egos and special powers, superheroes fight for “truth and justice” especially when they are challenged by super villains Lex Luthor, The Joker, Dr. Doom, and the Green Goblin.
And then there are monsters — feared and struggling to conform to societal norms. These monsters include Dracula, the Mummy, Frankenstein’s Monster, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
