Modest dreamer. I write with broken English. For four straight years, I was a columnist for the South Dakota State University Collegian Newspaper [website].
Professional blogger. Own and co-own more than 10 blogs. Recognized as one of the top Philippine bloggers by some blog-ranking sites. One thing that made me so proud was running the “Filipino Blog of the Week” award for more than 3 years [Search Google].
I had essays and articles published in the Philippines’ most-read newspaper (print and online) Philippine Daily Inquirer [Youngblood Section], Sun-Star Daily Cebu [Lifestyle Section], Sun-Star Weekend Magazine [thanks to my editor and award-winning writer Madam Erma Cuizon who truly inspired me to be a regular contributor], The Freeman Newspaper and Sunday Magazine, ABS-CBN online and the now abandoned pinoycentral.com.
While enjoying every pursuit of excellence and experiencing the peaks in life – I am also a busy geo-scientist. Samples of peer-reviewed scientific papers I authored/co-authored and published are here, here, here and here.
Loves vinegar and soy sauce. Hates MySpace. Coffee Mocha flows in my veins.
I started the Salas Foundation.

I want to experience the highest form of love — Agape, as decribed by P. Coelho. Agape is the love that consumes.
I like sacrifices: “Sacrifice is a part of life. It’s supposed to be. It is not something to regret. It’s something to aspire to.” –M. Albom
