So small is the “Smallest Independent State in the World” that you can see everything in a few hours. The walled Vatican City in Italy is beautiful, more amazing than what you may see online or on TV.
Going up to the top of St. Peter’s Basilica is a must thing to do. The views from the top are majestic.
Vatican is always crowded, so expect to be in a queue for at least 2 hours. One advice: get your ticket online before you go.
When in Vatican City, do not miss to see the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Even for a non-Christian, the whole experience will be inspiring.
Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours.
