The Futuro House or UFO House in Carlisle, Ohio is an eye-catcher by itself. With two oblong saucers connected with a tube walkway, the structure is certainly an interesting roadside structure along Central Ave.
I am not sure when the this UFO house was built, but the prefabricated Futuro home design from 1968 is by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen.
What to know before you visit
- Finding a place to park is hard. If you visit, you may park along the road and walk to the structure.
- This is a private house. You may want to talk to the owner if you wish to see what’s inside the house.
