What a small park with so many things to do! Near the entrance of the park, there is a set-up of an old Indian Village.
The park is the site of the Kispoko and Peckuwe septs of the Shawnee nation prior to the Battle of Peckuwe.
The Battle of Peckuwe was the largest battle of the American Revolution to occur west of the Allegheny Mountains.
