From just over 100 friends last year, my list of Facebook friends has now reached over 1000. It is amazing to know how everyone seems to own a Facebook account these days. Met someone in a bar? Ask for his/her FB account and you’d be on your way to knowing him or her more. Add all your friends from church. Find your long-lost high school friends and add them in. In a matter of days, you will have a number of followers who will sneak into your every wall post.

When you add someone you have not seen for many years, what do you usually do afterward – say, few seconds after adding?

This “Quick Find (Links Only)” search bar (aka Quick Find bar) that constantly appears at the bottom of the screen each time I type an apostrophe inside a text box is annoying to the max! It will not allow me to type, for instance, “won’t” or “I’m” or anything that has an apostrophe. Quick googling revealed the culprit – the Mozilla Firefox browser. Mozilla is actually aware of the browser issue and acknowledged users’ complaints by offering some quick solutions/fixes.

Solution 1: Fix the problem by updating your Firefox version. Most of the causes of this issue are fixed in the latest version of Firefox.

Mediacom Internet Service sucks! It was just few months ago when I complained about the sudden interruption of Mediacom’s Cable TV service without any notice. Today, it is Mediacom’s Internet Service that has completely malfunctioned!

According to Mediacom, network problems are responsible for a widespread loss of internet service that began Tuesday night and continue Thursday. The company said that the loss of internet service is not related to the ice storm. Mediacom further said that their network engineers are still troubleshooting the cause of the outage.

Worst blog ever! The blog intended to spam the internet goes to www.junaldpascua.info. Please don’t visit the site, it is a clear source of spams. This type of blog makes the internet so bad. Why junaldpascua.info a scam? Because it claims to give breaking news and information, when in fact it actually isn’t doing any of those.

For instance, when the Bay Area earthquake happened in San Francisco, junaldpascua.info said this:

We are alerted with the news about the Bay Area Earthquake. This earthquake became very famous in the Internet today. Have you gathered enough details about it?

Then the blogger, Junald Pascua, asked his readers to “watch the full videos of Bay Area Earthquake at the URL below, just copy and paste the URL below to your address bar now.” The thing is, there is actually no link below the post, nor a video about the Bay Area Earthquake. What is below the post is Adsense. Thus, he is actually asking readers to click on his ads so he could earn. This is against Adsense policies. What a scam!

There is this poster who leaves comments on my every post every day, without a miss, for months now. The poster carries the name bathmateus; sometimes it’s bath mateus.

I love comments. But not coming from this bathmateus, who obviously just spamming my blog entries and promoting his website. I visited one time the link that always comes with his spam comments and I was directed to a site about solution to erectile dysfunction.
