The San Diego Botanical Building was the most photographed building in the Balboa Park. One reason for that is, the 1914 building has a beautiful front facade with a long Lily Pond and Lagoon.

Inside the building are 2,100 permanent plants, varying from orchids to cycads to palms. You need at least 30 minutes to can see everything inside.

Outside the building are visitors with picnic baskets.

Entering the building is free of charge.
