I was only staying for a night in Roswell, New Mexico for the UFO Festival (Aliens Festival) that weekend. Since I booked my hotel at the last minute, and knowing that people travel to the city to witness the event, I expected the room prices to soar high. I searched for available rooms and found Budget Inn to be the only accommodation with available ones. The usual $40 a night stay became a $102/night that weekend. I took the price bait and expected the worse for my room.

Alas, Budget Inn completely surprised me!

It was spacious and clean. Very clean.

The bed was comfy. The bathroom tiles and fixtures and the shower were newly renovated. The TV was mounted on the wall.

Although the outside was not impressive, the inside was a total opposite. Parking was right across your door. I also noticed security cameras pointing in two directions outside.

The location of the hotel was just a 5-minute drive to the UFO Fest, which was at the main street of the town.

If you feel hungry, Whataburger is across the street.

I would choose this hotel again if I get to visit Roswell, New Mexico in the future.
