The Albuquerque BioPark Zoo in New Mexico houses a variety of animals including polar bears, mountain lions, birds, alligators, and monkeys. It is a small zoo compared to the one I visited in Nebraska, but it interesting enough for the whole family to enjoy a 2-hour walk of sightseeing.

Most the animal displays and habitats were very well maintained and the staff were all friendly and accommodating.
This is a great park for the price. If you are a New Mexico resident, you will get a discounted entrance fee.
If you are visiting during summer months, arrive early to avoid the scorching heat of the day.

Tips when visiting during summer months:
1. Bring water bottles.
2. Snacks are expensive inside, so bring snacks.
3. It can become very hot, so bring a hat or umbrella.
