You will never miss the world’s largest pistachio monument in Alamogordo, New Mexico when traveling along U.S. Highway 54/70. The giant 30-ft high concrete structure located at McGinn’s Pistachio Tree Ranch was built in honor of the founder of Tree Farm, the late Tom MCGinn.
See the store too.
There is a store and gift shop just beside this giant nut structure that sells pistachios in different flavors. Inside the shop you can sample pistachio treats, enjoy ice cream, and get a free taste of some local wines!
It is worth buying a bagful of pistachio.
Prices of the pistachio vary depending on the sizes of the bags. Prices are very reasonable.
Scorpion Moruga?
And they sell this — the Scorpion Moruga, the world’s hottest chile pepper!
Don’t miss the gift shop in the other side of the building.
There is always a smile from the lovely people in this store, so pay them a visit when you’re around town.
