The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC offers so many historical rarities all in one place. The Lunar modules, Charles Lindberg’s one-of-a-kind Spirit of St. Louis, the Wright Brothers plane, Amelia Earhart’s plane, John Glenn’s rocket, the nuclear warheads are just few of the wonders inside.

With almost 7 million visitors a year, is is considered the fifth most visited museum in the world.

The museum is well organized in a manner as to be appealing for both young and adults. Although in some displays it was elbow to elbow, but everything was worth it.

Be awestruck by the massive exhibits that hang from all parts of the ceiling.

The museum contains educational movies about American aviation used during the war — like those used in the Philippine sea.
