I was there to witness the historic Space shuttle Endeavour launch on February 8, 2010 at the NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. It was memorable as it was the final scheduled space shuttle night launch.

It was beautiful watching for the first time the shuttle streaking through the dark early morning sky on its way to orbit.

Around me were people cheering and just in awe of the sight of a rocket launch.
