I saw a copy of The Peg Leg Update yesterday on a table at Wecota Hall. I didn’t mind the 11-page publication until I grabbed a copy of the Collegian issue, which was piled beside it.

There is nothing fancy about the publication aside from its glossy blackish cover. The first print is simple but the articles are interesting. Not because two articles are written by two of my friends: Jay Albertson and Ross Bell, but because the publication is an assortment of just about anything. According to the editor-in-chief, Mitch LeClair (who is a also a Collegian writer):

…it is a medium which people can publish basically whatever words and images they would like…

Now how does that sound to you?

The Peg Leg Update also launches its blog. If you can’t have the print, you can read the articles online. Basically, you still get everything of what’s inside the print version. The blog is hosted by the free platform WordPress.com, which I think needs a lot of template tweaking. But I’m sure Mitch will put that one on the list of things to do in the future. The publication is still starting and it has my support.

So to all my 360 Twitter followers, my more than 3500 feed readers, my 600+ Facebook friends, please help spread the word about The Peg Leg Update.

The publication has so much space available for advertisers. Calling all my blog advertisers, here is a good advertising space for you!
