Ted Kennedy Jr.’s eulogy, so touching
I watched Sen. Ted Kennedy’s funeral service today live on CNN. Among all eulogies, it was Ted Kennedy Jr.’s eulogy that moved me. I’ve heard the best words that a son could say to a father!
Ted Kennedy Jr. made me teary-eyed! I posted the videos below, in two parts.

Lady Barista: Racism via mocha and chai
I was stabbed right into the heart!
When a racist strikes, it weakens you right at that moment of attack. You lose your guard and you think of right words to say. You don’t want to talk back in hopes that the racist will realize ‘her’ mistake, unring the bell and apologize. She never did!
Cottonwood Coffee is the best coffee shop in Brookings, South Dakota. No wonder I kept coming back after I tasted and loved a serving of its coffee and enjoyed its customer service. Not to mention, the owners are very friendly to their customers. If I have to list the best coffee shops I have been into so far, in all my travels, I will include Cottonwood in it. That is how I love the place and their coffee concoctions.
Colors of McCrory Gardens, Brookings 2009
The McCrory Gardens in Brookings, South Dakota offers not just a vast space for group picnics (I saw a group of ladies comfortably squatting and eating on the greens today) but a variety of colors to see and behold. I visit the park every summer and every summer there is always something new introduced to the area. This year the garden layout has changed and more colorful flowers lined the sides.
Below are few pictures I took. Enjoy the colors of McCrory Gardens 2009!

SDSU website makeover
The South Dakota State University (SDSU) website has undergone a huge makeover. From the previous scary pictures that welcomes you on its homepage to a newer, much feel-good design now. I really love the look of the new site with the nice blending of the colors gold and blue. The site navigation has improved a lot as well. No more “where’s the f%$*@ng link?”
Did I mention that the SDSU site has a banner that talks? LOL.
Place in the blogosphere
With the existence of online technology, who isn’t into blogging? Many of those who are spending hours in the web are most likely maintaining online sites where they write anything they do, from protesting on the streets to commenting on the recent calamities to crying from heartbreak to sharing hobbies and shopping list, to even the daily weather condition.
A quick googling will reveal that a blog is the newest form of journalism with a reverse chronology, unfiltered content, comments, links, a relaxed attitude, and appropriated text. It is a short cut for a web log, a place where you can cover your own event and present it in an informal tone you want. A blog is your rants in a journal that is made public and readers post comments online.
